Iris Sofia discovered the art of bellydance while she lived in Brazil. She has worked as a professional bellydancer and fitness instructor since 2005. Despite her young age of 25, she has wide experience from Brazil, Norway, Morocco, Portugal, Madeira, Dubai, Greece and Egypt. Iris Sofia both makes performances and teaches bellydance, and can be booked for any occasion as for private lessons, weekend courses, workshops, kick-offs, bachelorette parties, anniversaries, weddings and events. From 2006 - 2009 she worked as the "dancer of the house" at Sahara Beduin restaurant in Oslo where she had weekly performances. In the same periode she also worked as an instructor in several ELIXIA-gyms, giving classes as Oriental rhythms, Streching and Flow big ball. Her dream was to have an international career, and that made her move away from Norway. Today Iris travels around the world giving classes and shows, but she still appears in Oslo, where she can be booked for private lessons, courses and performances. Iris Sofia also cooperates with Jomfrureiser, and organizes activity trips for women to countries as Portugal, Greece, Dubai and Egypt.
